WA Supreme Bull Sale - Thursday February 25th 2010 at Brunswick Junction WA, 130km south of Perth. On offer is 11 of the best of Amaroo 2008 drop bulls as well as 10 quality bulls from other WA breeders.

Included in the Amaroo offering is 3 bulls with stud sire potential and 2 polled bulls. A sale not to be missed with the cream of Western Australia's Blonde bulls on offer. Blondes will be offered first in this multi-breed sale. Sale commences at 11am.

Each year the Amaroo style of Blonde bull is keenly sort after by both stud and commercial beef producers. For 15 years Amaroo has been breeding in line with the stud’s objectives, selecting bloodlines for: fertility, easy calving, muscling, rapid growth and good conformation.

The Amaroo bulls are bred for the commercial market and not for cattle shows. The stud has no interest in selling bulls if they will not perform for their clients. “It is very important to match the right type of bull to a beef producer’s needs,” Gerald said. “We can advise on best practise matings and appreciate the opportunity to discuss with our clients their needs and target markets prior to the WA Supreme Bull Sale. That way we can ensure they get the right bull for their situation.”

One standout bull is Lot 3 Amaroo Double Muscle (ET). He is carries outstanding muscling combined with great softness. His growth rate is second to none and he has always weighed more than his mates. He is a stud sire plus and has to be one of the best bulls we have ever bred. He has already created much pre-sale interest and recently weighed 998kg at 22 months of age.
